We are writing with an update on Covid-19’s impact on the Bay of Islands.
As you may already know, in an effort to curb the spread of COVID-19 and reduce additional stress on already limited northern Ontario health resources, the Premier of Ontario and Chief Public Health Officer of Canada are urging people to stay put and not travel to their cottages.
In addition, the Ontario government recently reduced the list of essential businesses allowed to operate at this time. As a result, marinas may only be open to help individuals who need to access their primary residence; they are no longer allowed to offer services to seasonal residents.
